While living in Rome together, Tammy and Alessandro and would spend weekends astride the Ducati, heading through the mountains and along the coast, on their quest for the "Ultimate Gelato". They knew what a good gelato should taste like; what kind of consistency it should have, when it was fresh and when it wasn't. They knew that with the right decorative topping; it could become a work of art. But they wanted to make gelato from simple and wholesome ingredients rather than with pre-measured powdered mixes.
So in 2010, Tammy packed her bags and returned to Italy - the cradle of gelato making, to attend the most reputable and successful artisan gelato training centre in the world, and train under Italy's finest Gelato Masters.
Tammy, Alessandro and their family, infuse the passion and pride they share for well prepared food into each recipe.
