We are a math tutoring company.  We started with strong winds in our sails September 2019.  By April 1, 2020, the wind was completely gone from our sales.  We started as an in-person, in-home tutoring service, specializing in math.  We drove across the Ottawa region helping student with their mathematics and reducing the anxiety in households just a bit!  We met many dogs along the way!

Since April 2020, we have changed to online tutoring, still specializing in mathematics.  We have tried to make the experience as interactive and as close as possible to being in person.  We use an online whiteboard that allows for cooperative collaboration between student and tutor; we use audio visual online conferencing so that student and tutor can see each other and discuss work together just as though they were in the same room; we provide a unique shared drive on the cloud for each student so that student and tutor can share material to work on and consult.  This can include, homework problems, past tests, course outlines and more. While it’s not the same as being in person we hope that helps, even a bit, get students and families through their studies as effectively and successfully as possible.  We do miss meeting all the puppies but we can still hear them in the background! ??
 
We know it can be daunting choosing someone to come into your home, even virtually, to help you child so we have a weekly, Saturday morning “Meet and Greet” with our tutor.  This is a great opportunity for parents and student to meet the tutor, ask any questions they may have, share a bit about their past and current situation with their studies and their goals.  We are here to work with not just the student, but with the family as well.  We are here to build relationships that go beyond the semester and math course.   We grow and improve just as much as each of the students we help.  Details of our Saturday morning “Meet & Greet” can be found below.
