Grape Styles:Frontenac wines may be dry, sweet or rosé styles and is increasingly used to make port due to the acidity of the grape.The juice usually has a deep garnet color, with cherry aromas. Aromas have been described as blackcurrant, plum and sometimes a chocolate-covered cherry nose with mocha overtones. Black licorice is very common.Most often the dry styles benefit from oak contact.
