Meet the Maker
Hi everyone,
My name is Emma and I'm the artist behind ETM Glassworks in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, Ontario! I've always been what my family likes to call a disaster crafter; deconstructing things, turning them into creepy Halloween decorations and leaving a massive mess wherever I go. After one too many complaints about the mess, I decided I needed a more structured art form and after months of research I decided I was going to teach myself how to create stained glass.
I started my self-taught journey in July 2020 and while it has been bloody, it has also been exciting, therapeutic, creative and full of love! For the first few months, I filled my friends and family's windows with pieces they didn't know they wanted and now I'm hoping to fill yours as well. My website will have regularly stocked items available for purchase, as well as, made-to-order designs and totally custom created pieces. I am also super excited to announce that as of March 1, 2022, my rescue dog, Digby, will be selecting one piece of glass in every piece that I make.
