About Us

Answering the question of why I started DoggoCakesandTreats is very simple, yet very complicated. I started DoggoCakesandTreats as a way to channel my grief from the loss of my 12 year old Doggo, MacReady, as well as the grief of losing my mother, an avid baker. This allowed me to focus on what I loved most, dogs! I felt a need to provide homemade natural and hypoallergenic dog treats and cakes for all occasions. It has been an amazing experience  entering the incredible dog community we have here in the Ottawa and Gatineau area and working alongside talented small business owners.
