About Us
The building at 1250 Wellington Street West has been in the DioGuardi family for three generations. The original business, Philip’s Smoke Shop, was a local fixture in the Wellington West neighbourhood for many years. Philip and Laura DioGuardi ran a successful store and were able to put their two children through university. One became a prominent surgeon in Vancouver and the other, Paul DioGuardi, a successful lawyer who has been practicing for over 50 years.
Things have come full circle and now Brigitte DioGuardi has established DioGuardi Law and works with her father who is independent counsel to the firm.
